What is SheerTech Zinc™?

SheerTech Zinc™ is the powerhouse of our SPF formula consisting of unique non-nano mineral zinc oxide; it’s our breakthrough technology that makes it possible for this fluid texture to be the sheerest yet (literally!) with high SPF 50 broad spectrum protection.

It undergoes a patented process that evenly coats every single non-nano zinc oxide particle with a protective film that delivers lightweight, sheer UV protection. It creates the easiest application that leaves behind zero white cast, spreads easily, absorbs quickly and doesn’t clog pores. It’s the reason our sunscreen feels like skincare.

How does our sunscreen keep your skin hydrated?

We formulated our sunscreen with Safflower Oleotech™, a proprietary ingredient complex that uniquely delivers all-day hydration through time-release technology. It works to powerfully and continuously infuse skin with vitamin E enriched safflower extract and encapsulated oleosomes (natural oil droplets found in plants). We also combined this with cold-pressed, organic sunflower seed oil and antioxidant-rich shea butter to simultaneously condition and soften skin. These three key ingredients work together to strengthen the skin barrier while delivering long-lasting hydration, for skin that never feels tight or dry even while swimming or sweating.

Why 100% mineral non-nano?

We chose to formulate using zinc oxide because safety is always our top priority. Our non-nano zinc oxide contains particles that are larger than 100 nanometers – a safe-for-skin particle size that sits on top of the skin without absorbing into the bloodstream. It’s also reef-safe, safe for sensitive skin, and safe for use during pregnancy for 100% worry-free protection.

Why should you use a fluid sunscreen?

There are many benefits to using a fluid sunscreen, but we like to think our formula checks all the boxes (and then some).
